Ant and Dec’s DNA Journey viewers are convinced the pals are related

VIEWERS of Ant and Dec's DNA Journey are convinced the pals will find out they are related in tomorrow night's episode.

The I'm A Celebrity presenting duo flew to Ireland in the first part of the documentary to find their various "DNA cousins" in the Emerald isle.

Dec discovered he was related to a billionaire fuel magnet while Ant discovered he had strong links to an entire village packed full of McPartlins.

However, in the closing moments of the episode the pair were told they would be going to New York for the next stage of their DNA family hunt.

And fans became suspicious that the show would end with the long-time friends discovering they too were DNA cousins.

One wrote: "Why do I get the feeling Ant & Dec are gonna find out they’re related?"

A second said: "If this doesn’t end with Ant and Dec finding out they’re related I’ll be very disappointed."

Another added: "I hope it ends up that they’re related."

There were also emotional scenes between the pair as the show took a year long break during filming in 2017 after Ant went to rehab following his highly publicised problems.

Dec admitted the pair struggled to move on after the troubles, saying: "It's been a tough couple of years. It's really tested the bond that we've shared since we were 13 years old. I was incredibly angry at the start, so angry, disappointed in him that he didn't come to me and say, 'I'm struggling, I need help'."

Ant added: "I had to ignore work and focus on me. Dec's been fantastic, he's a kind man who's been supportive of me. I'll be forever grateful and thankful for the love we have. I thought the public had had enough.

"I didn't think I'd be allowed to do what I love anymore but coming back and being on screen and the affection and the love from people has been overwhelming. I can't thank people enough. Doing this show has made us look at each other in a different way. He means the world to me, Dec. His well being his happiness his health means the world to me."

The show continues tomorrow night on ITV
